The Batteries and Accumulators (Placing on the Market) Regulations 2008 come into force on 26^th September 2008.  Any persons wishing to place new primary (single use) batteries and accumulators (i.e. rechargeable batteries) or battery-powered appliances on the UK market will need to comply with the Regulations from 26^th September 2008 onwards. ...full story »
