| Get your team ready for the Joint Industry Go-Karting day and raise money for Hospitality Action. Date: Tuesday 7th October 2008 Venue: Daytona Milton Keynes, H4 Dansteed Way, Rooksley, Milton Keynes, MK13 8NP Time: 11.00am-5.00pm Cost: £550 + V.A.T per team (includes all Equipment Hire, Breakfast & Lunch) You can enter as a company, invite guests or customers for an event that will provide excellent networking opportunities. Fun is a guaranteed part of the day. We have hired the National Circuit at the state of the art Daytona, Milton Keynes, a 900 metre outdoor track and you will be driving twin-engine prokarts timed by a sophisticated Roc Timing System relayed to screens across the venue. The on-kart dashboards display race position, laptime and gap to the driver in front. You can enter between 3-6 people per team, with as many teams as you like. Following arrival at the circuit there will be a full briefing by circuit staff and all safety equipment will be provided. This will be a 3 hour endurance event so that everybody will get plenty of opportunity to drive on this exhilarating track. We will be awarding prizes for ‘Fastest Lap’, ‘Overall Team Prize’ and more….. The Awards are a first for the hospitality industry and Caterer and Hotelkeeper is investing a lot of time and effort into making sure that they are a success – entries are invited from 12 categories which includes 'equipment supplier' web site and each entry costs £95 + VAT. Specifically, Caterer are looking to recognise and reward those involved in designing, managing or marketing websites which are judged by a panel of experts to be the best within their category. | The awards recognise innovation and enterprise in the development of professional catering equipment and supplies. The panel of judges will assess entry submissions for evidence of fresh thinking, significant advances in design, cost effectiveness in use, and innovative application of technology. Entries are invited across 15 categories and each entry costs just £150 + VAT and winners will be promoted at ‘Hospitality 2009’ and will receive extensive coverage in Caterer Group media. The closing date for entries is Friday 31st October. |
